Tha Smokin Chef is Randall Hensley, former sous-chef for the Frisco Roughriders. During his tenure at the Dr. Pepper Ballpark he produced over 25,000 lbs of the same delicious barbeque you’ll find at our home base – the Grab n’ Go in Lewisville.
After 20+ years in the Dallas restaurant business (with stays at Houston’s, Pappa Bros, Jasper’s, Naan, Nicola’s, & the Westin) he completed his degree in Culinary Arts at Collin College in 2012 and then established Tha Smokin Chef in 2014.
We provide event catering with our full-service mobile kitchen. You can find us at the local craft breweries in DFW, food truck festivals, business lunches, private parties… we cover it all!
